Live YouTube Subscriber Count

Watch any public YouTube channel's subscriber count update in real time. Search a channel below and we'll refresh its stats automatically straight from the YouTube Data API, no page reload needed. This is a live YouTube subscriber count tool, so the YouTube subscriber count live on screen reflects the real time YouTube subscriber count reported by the official API.

How Does the Live Subscriber Counter Work?

Once you search and select a channel, Bilipedia calls the official YouTube Data API and displays its current public subscriber count. The counter then automatically re fetches that same data every 3 seconds for as long as the page stays open, so any change YouTube reports is reflected here shortly after it happens, without you needing to refresh the page.

Is This Truly "Real Time"?

The count is as live as YouTube's own public API allows. YouTube does not stream a live per-second feed of subscriber changes, and very high-subscriber channels display a rounded figure rather than an exact number. What you see here is the same public count shown on the channel's YouTube page, refreshed automatically instead of manually.

Live Subscriber Count: Frequently Asked Questions

How often does the live counter update?

By default it checks the YouTube Data API every 3 seconds. You can pause updates at any time with the pause button if you just want a snapshot.

Why does the number sometimes not change between refreshes?

Subscriber counts don't change every second for most channels, and very large channels are shown as a rounded estimate by YouTube itself, so the displayed figure can stay the same across several refreshes even while it updates behind the scenes.

Can I share a live link to a specific channel?

Yes, once a channel is loaded, click the share icon to copy a direct link that opens straight into that channel's live counter for anyone you send it to.

Why is a channel's subscriber count hidden?

Some creators choose to hide their public subscriber count in YouTube Studio. When that's the case we display "Hidden" instead of an inaccurate number, matching what YouTube itself shows.
